HOW YOU CAN MAKE THIS LESSON EFFECTIVE FOR YOU AND YOUR STUDENTS:

1. Make sure students have completed the iChoose XLR8 Module 2 pre-assessment:

2. Provide any necessary refresher guidance to support students in the Facilitator role prior to starting the lesson. You may need to conduct a model table or show students the sample table video using this link: https://vimeo.com/748933437/1cf8d18db5.

3. Distribute lesson content and for this first lesson, review the legend at the beginning of the lesson with all students.

4. Strategically form groups of 3-5 for a 30–45-minute time slot and 6-8 for an hour.

5. Select a student in each group to be the initial Facilitator. Rotate the opportunity to be Facilitator after each lesson.

6. Be the resource in the room to guide challenges that may arise in the groups and redirect students when necessary.
